All clients are managed by Martyn Hodgson who directly delivers the work as well as subcontracting certain elements where results can be delivered in a more cost effective manner.

About Martyn Hodgson

Martyn loves a good challenge in both work and sport – here’s an article that nicely sums up Martyn’s approach.

He has a unique blend of skills – an innovative commercial mind who can relay this vision to motivate those around him. Martyn also focuses on delivering strong management information through the optimal combination of staff, technology and processes.

He was head of finance for Ananova, the worlds first virtual broadcaster during the internet boom in 2000.

After holding commercial and analytical roles in Orange where he set up a management information database & established contracts for the first mobile downloads, Martyn decided to leave corporate life, preferring to build a portfolio of clients.

Continuing in his desire for innovative challenges, Martyn co-founded Physiobench in 2008, a cutting edge online physiotherapy practice enabling clients to self manage their injury.

This gave him a good knowledge of internet marketing. Being very analytical in nature, it is proving to be a very complimentary service to financial management, through his other business, Get Above the Fold.

Martyn started life in audit with a small 2 partner Scottish firm then moved to Ernst & Young in Leeds. He soon decided his future lay in industry and was promptly tasked with shutting down his first company. In 1995 he joined VC-backed Johnson Radley, a precision engineering firm and overhauled the systems driving efficiencies onto the shopfloor. He also held Finance Director roles in chemicals and wire manufacturing companies as well as a textiles company he put into receivership.
